Technology
MMX combines advanced sensing, embedded computing and artificial intelligence to create autonomous systems that can perceive and understand their environment directly where data is generated. Our technology is built around a simple principle: process information where it matters.
Sensing: Perceive the Environment
MMX combines different sensing modalities to create a richer picture of the environment. From electromagnetic activity and acoustic signatures to visual and thermal information, different sensors can be combined according to the mission and operating environment.
Edge AI: Understand What Matters
Raw sensor data is only valuable when relevant information can be identified. AI algorithms running directly on the edge detect, classify and interpret events close to their source. This reduces unnecessary data transmission and enables rapid responses even when a connection to a central system is unavailable.
Autonomy: Decide Locally
MMX systems are designed to operate beyond continuous human supervision. Event-driven processing allows systems to remain in a low-power state until relevant activity is detected. Local decision-making then determines what information needs to be stored, communicated or acted upon.
Communication: Connect What Matters
Autonomous systems do not have to operate in isolation. Selected information can be exchanged between individual nodes, platforms or ground systems to create a distributed picture of the environment. Communication is used where it provides value, while critical perception and decision-making remain local.
